Chuckles and giggles

OK, by popular demand, we are posting twice in one day! When John-Nathan woke up, he had clean hands and feet and trimmed toenails and fingernails. We will get him totally clean, even if it takes a couple more days of naps! He was kind of slow to wake up, but then played some. We did some paperwork with our coordinator here in the room. She got him to say some things in Chinese. She was also helpful in diagnosing that he was having a stomach ache. And so another victory tonight was having him sit on the toilet and do some much needed business. Ah, felt much better afterwards--was even up to eating some noodles. (see video for meal time giggles). More play time together after that, then we brushed his teeth. Seeing Julianna do hers no doubt helped. And seeing Papa take his shirt off was apparently incentive enough for him to relinquish his prized tank top which he wouldn't let us remove earlier. Yet another victory! We have said our prayers together and are on our way to bed. We need to be up and ready to depart by 8:30 in order to finalize the adoption at 9:00 back in the same office as today. John-Nathan has fallen asleep in Celinda's arms and she has placed him in the bedside crib furnished by the hotel. Nightie-night! "I will both lay me down in peace and sleep for thou Lord only makest me dwell in safety" (PR)

We have been enjoying reading all of your posts;seeing all your pictures, and are so happy for you all. John-Nathan looks very happy and has such a sweet smile.

You have a new cousin here on this end also. My son, John and his wife, Kelly had their baby girl today... July 7th at 6:44 am. She weighed 8 lbs 13 ounces and is 20 inches long. We are here in Alpharetta, where they are in the hospital. Kelly had a very long labor and we were up all night, all of us!!

Will continue to pray for y'all as you enjoy your bonding time in China.

Ah the giggles of youth. Thanks for sharing again his first day with you. Now to finish the process in a couple of hours (your time). Am sure that at times it seems to drag but oh the transition John-Nathan is going thru mentally and physically. The attention he is now receiving and not being taken back to the same building and room. WOW!!! It would be overwhelming to this old goat. We really enjoy the blog and sharing some of your time with us. What a record for John-Nathan and you all. Luv ya, nl & kac
