Has it really been 4 months?

Yes, it has been 4 months since our littlest fellow joined our family! We are enjoying and are truly grateful for  his addition. Below are quite a few pictures from our most recent happenings. Hope you can endure the length of this post :).

In August we took a beach trip with the grandparents. Lots of fun in the sand, sun, and surf.
Thanks to Julianna's budding photography skills, we were able to have a  family photo shoot.

The precious 3

The two super cute boys

Love how the clouds sort of outlined a heart in the sky just for us :)

Beautiful daughter

Crazy man

Cute little guy

Papa's girl

There is a certain little person who leaves his mark wherever he goes. We sometimes refer to him as our little F-5 tornado. (The "clean up song" is a well-worn refrain around here!)  Who could it possibly be?

Could this be the guilty party? Surely not, with a smile like that!

Yes, he has taken to the wheel, but he needs a few more lessons in driving! Turning the wheel and looking where you are going would be good starts.

John-Nathan (minus two front teeth) trying to take back the wheel!

A trip to the zoo and a ride on the train

John-Nathan made it to the Tiger exhibit just in time to see the tiger up close.

Jack thought it was pretty funny to be on a downhill in a "run-a-way" stroller.

Labor Day weekend we were treated to a terrific camp experience at Children's Harbor on Lake Martin. We all really enjoyed the get-a-way.

So cute

Love my big boy!

Julianna and John-Nathan ready for tubing.

Jack smiled and laughed as he watched his brother and sister go "bump, bump, bump" as he says. He keeps telling the story of it over and over (and over)...

Adaptive water skiing was a lot of fun for John-Nathan and...

...Julianna!

"Ahh, this is the life!"

All the kids loved the trampoline "blob" in the lake. Jack loves to jump...we don't call him Jumping Jack for nothing!

Notice John-Nathan at the end of the "launch pad" to the right.

Heavy young fellow falls...

John-Nathan now airborne..

and flipping backwards...

John-Nathan thought it was great!

A canoe ride

Nothing like a nap on a fast moving pontoon boat. We enjoyed two trips out on the lake this way, and Jack fell asleep both times.

John-Nathan turns 7!

Cousin/niece Caroline and her friend Taylor came as a surprise to his birthday party. Grateful for her pastry skills in icing the cupcakes for me!

Race car action in the basement.

Friends and cousins help him celebrate.

Some of this new 7 year old's favorite things.
He is becoming quite the Lego builder just like his Papa and sister.

His introduction to Hot Wheels race track has been a hit. Peter kind of likes it, too :). Memories!

You made it through the post. Thanks for continuing to pray for us. God is good ALL the time. We still stand amazed at how He has formed our family. We are grateful for the doors of opportunity each of our children have opened to us to learn more of God's love and more of His mercy and grace.
